Hi! I'm Angie
here's my story...

I'm a certified and insured canine bodyworker with a genuine passion for dogs. My certification includes massage therapy, myofascial release, Kinesio taping, and targeted therapeutic exercises. With an inclusive approach, I cater to dogs of diverse breeds, ages, and activity levels - from the world's top-tier sport dogs to our cherished senior companions requiring that extra level of care.

My lifelong love for dogs has driven me to dive deeply into their world, immersing myself in various dog sports alongside my heart dog, Wonder—a Border Collie/ Staffordshire terrier mix. Together, we ventured into fly-ball, barn hunt, dock diving, and eventually found our true calling in agility training and competition. Through agility, I discovered the crucial significance of maintaining a dog's overall body condition to keep them in peak performance.

Eventually, I started training in IGP (Schutzhund) with my German Shepherd, Atilla. After joining IGP, I realized this high-impact sport could pose a risk of injury to our dogs. It was then my goal to educate myself and others within this sport to be pro-active and maintain their dog's physical health, so I completed my certification and started K9 Muscleworks.

One of my recent and notable accomplishments includes being selected as the health care provider for Team Canada at the esteemed 2022 IFCS World Agility Championship. This invaluable experience has deepened my understanding and knowledge in treating sport dogs at the highest caliber.

Currently, I train and compete in IGP with my young German Shepherd, D-Rex.

My ultimate mission is to bring comfort and well-being to your beloved pets. I am dedicated to continuous growth and believe in staying at the forefront of the industry through ongoing education and training. I actively seek out classes and courses that I believe will greatly benefit my skill set, striving to offer the best care and expertise to help your furry companions feel their very best.
