Hi! I'm Angie
here's my story...

I’m a certified and insured canine bodyworker (CIECBW) and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach through NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, with a genuine passion for helping dogs move, perform and feel their best. My training includes massage therapy, myofascial release, laser therapy,  strength and conditioning exercises, allowing me to tailor sessions to each dog’s individual needs. I work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and activity levels from elite sport dogs to senior companions requiring extra care.

My lifelong love for dogs has driven me to immerse myself in their world through various dog sports alongside my heart dog, Wonder, a Border Collie/Staffordshire Terrier mix. Together, we explored flyball, barn hunt, dock diving, and eventually discovered our true calling in agility. Through agility, I learned the importance of maintaining a dog’s body condition to support peak performance and prevent injury.

Later, I began training in IGP (Schutzhund) with my German Shepherd, Atilla, which reinforced the need for proactive care and physical maintenance for high-impact sport dogs. This motivated me to pursue formal certification and ultimately launch K9 Muscleworks.

One of my proudest accomplishments was serving as the health care provider for Team Canada at the 2022 IFCS World Agility Championship, an experience that expanded my knowledge and expertise in working with sport dogs at the highest level.

I also teach a 2-day "Basics of Canine Massage" course for dog owners at Olds College, sharing my skills to help pet owners understand and support their dog’s comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.

Currently, I continue to train and compete in IGP with my young German Shepherd, D-Rex. My mission is to provide comfort, improve well-being, and enhance performance for every dog I work with. I stay at the forefront of the industry through ongoing education and training, continually refining my skills to ensure your dog receives the highest level of care.
